저는 용남초등학교 6학년 황인성입니다.

여러분 혹시 손병희선생님을 아시나요? 그러면 삼일절은요?

왜냐하면 학교 안가는 국경일이거든요.

아마도 삼일절이 없었다면 우리는 새학년을 3월 1일부터 시작했을 거예요.

저는 삼일절을 있게 해주신 의암 손병희선생님에 대해 알려드리고 싶어요.

삼일절은 알다시피 1919년 3월 1일에 우리나라의 독립선언과 만세운동을 한날입니다.

그런데 왜 일본의 식민지였던 슬픈시절에 3.1운동을 한것이 국경일이 되었을까요?

그것은 우리나라가 힘도 없고 민족정신마저 없어질려고 할때, 3.1운동이 우리나라에 새로운 큰 에너지를 주었기 때문이지요.

끈기있고 강한 우리 민족의 정신이 다시 살아난거지요.

그날을 계기로 독립운동이 계속해서 일어나고 드디어 1945년 8월 15일에 광복을 하게되었어요. 뿐만아니라 중국과 인도의 독립운동까지 영향을 준 우리나라의 살아있는 정신이었지요.

이처럼 훌륭한 일을 만드신분이 손병희선생님이세요.

삼일운동은 하루아침에

만들어어진것이 아니라 손병희선생님이 10년동안 차근차근 준비하신거예요.

손병희선생님은 일생을 오직 우리 민족을 위해

사신분이예요.

알면 알수록 더욱더 존경심과 감명을 받아요.

저는 이순신장군, 세종대왕처럼 손병희선생님이

널리 알려줬으며 좋겠어요.

우리모두 손병희선생님에 대한 책을 읽고

그를 널리 알리도록 해요. (감사합니다.)

I want to inform you of 'Uiam Son Byeonghui'.

Hi! my name is Hwang Inseong, I'm in the fourth class of sixth grade.

Do you know a person named ' 'Son Byeonghui'?

Then Do you know 'Samiljeol'?

Maybe you would not know 'Son Byeonghui' but you would know

"Sam Il Jeol" since it's a national holiday.

Had it not been for 'Samiljeol', our school year would probably begin on March 1st.

Now, I would like to tell you about 'Uiam Son Byeonghui' the very person who made 'Samiljeol' possible.

As you know, 'Samiljeol' is a day when our nation's declaration of independence and independence movement took place.

Then why did 'Samiljeol' that took place back in the sad colonal days become a national holiday?

Its because when our nation had no power and the korean race was

about to lose its spirit, the movement provided a new energy.

The movement renewed our people's perseverance and spirit.

From that day on, the independence movement continued and independence finally came on August 15th, 1945.

Not only that, our people's will and strength futher influenced India and china's independence movements.

This was all possibe because of 'Son Byeonghui'.

'Samiljeol' was not made possible overnight. It was prepared by Son Byung Hui through 10years of effort.

He is a man who spent his whole life solely for the good of our nation people.

More and more I got to know about him,

my respect towards the man also grows

more and more.

I hope 'Uiam Son Byeonghui' to be widely known,

Just like King Sejong or general Lee Sun Shin.

Let's all read a book about him and to inform
